Snoozefest

We had the club "interaction" today. Two words: 1. Exciting! 2. NOT. Eeek. It was the absolute worst of all interactions. There wasn't even any interacting going on. People kept grouping with their friends, so it makes you think what the whole point of the gathering was.

Some of the guys were so KJ. Stoic. Deadma. NR. Walang paki. The whole time na pinapaisip kami ng team name, they didn't even contribute anything. Just sat there and complained, "Wala na akong maisip...piga na utak ko...blahdiblah..." Kahit nung charades, when the emcees asked for one guy and one girl, wala sa group namin yung nag-volunteer. Gaaah. One word, and it starts with L. Our group presentation also sucked by the way. The seniors were planning a graceful [and secret] exit from the stage to avoid any more humiliation when some of the others on stage got all giddy for some unknown reason and started streaming to the wings, screaming their little lungs out. Ugh. Weird much?

Overall, the whole thing was so incredibly dull with a capital D, so I won't bore you with the details. The only fun part was when the guys did a sort of rendition of Kalye Onse. They were pretty good and funny. My most favorite part of the whole interaction was probably when it ended and we went out to meet the glorious, glorious rain and celebrate the calling-off of classes for tomorrow.

Where are you going to make sakay?

Had ACET yesterday mornin. Boy, traffic was absolute, absolute murder on the way so my mom and I just walked when the car neared the HS building. There were so many people and equally many lines that I didn't know where to go. Thank God I found Ces and we queued up with the rest of the people who belonged to rooms 1-14.

The test itself wasn't that bad. Easier than expected. English was fun, although I think my essay was pretty lame. Lamer than the usual, I mean. Abstract Reasoning and Numerical Ability weren't, though. The time was too short so about five minutes before each subtest would end, I would shade all answers I didn't know 'A'. A for Ateneo raw, sabi ni Sir Rai sa Experts. So yeah, the rest were fine. Math was fine, Gen Info was fine, the rest were pretty okay. God, I hope I pass.

Ang daming pa-sosyal na tao. Everywhere, I heard people speaking either English or conyo, although the majority spoke conyo. I overheard a girl asking her companion, "Where are you going to make sakay?". God, I hope I don't ever learn to speak like that, even if I'm in the Ateneo (hopefully) already. Although it can be fun at times to speak that way, we don't really do it seriously. Apa and Nicki and Koko and the rest in our barkada do it just for fun. And yung ibang mga Atenista, ang papansin. High-fiving each other and shouting as if there was no tomorrow. Papansin. Tsk, tsk. Pathetic.

*sigh* No use thinking about it anymore. We still have 4 loooong months before we have to think about it again.
