get my name right, will you??!!
One of the burdens of having a name like mine is that people often get confused with my sex. Seriously, even if they see ALEXANDRA printed in bold capital letters, they still think I'm a guy. My name in the Grade 6 yearbook is ALEXANDER for crying out loud. What, was there any facial feature that was even indicative of my being a male? Holy craaaap. Even my aunt calls me Alexander!alex: hello?
pizza guy: hello sir alex lee?alex: huh. excuse me?p.g.: (is probably slapping his forehead at hearing my feminine voice) uh, yes, ma'am alex, we had a problem here yadayadayada...hindi po namin nakuha yung address niyo yadayadayada...alex: uh-huh. hindi ba yun binigay nung call center?p.g.: ang gulo po talaga nung system e *chuckles nervously*...kung pwede lang po makuha yung address niyo...(he still goes on explaining about the mix-up for about 3 minutes) tinawagan ko na nga po yung call center at lahat e. *chuckles nervously again* o sige po, 'bye! *hangs up phone*That P.G. was weird. He didn't even get our address. Besides, if he already called the call center, why was he bothering to call me? Plus, I clearly remember the lady at the call center called me Alexandra. The P.G. should have seen that. Annoying pipsqueak.
