High School Musical 2's out. Brace yourselves; this means about two months' worth of week-after-week sing-a-longs, dance-a-longs and every other a-longs they can think of. Yipee, it would be sooo exciting to hear the songs playing again and again, I'm practically bouncing on my seat and breathless from excitement. Not.

So, HSM 2---erk.

Two hours of watching His Imperial Gayness Zac Efron exude, well, gayness. I swear, HSM has deteriorated. The first one at least had rather good songs, semi-LSS-worthy songs. Most of the songs in the second are rather poor. Also, the Lava Springs set in the start of the movie looked like a set you'd find in a high school play, not exactly what you'd expect from a million-dollar production. The cast wasn't so bad. Ashley Tisdale was kind of overdoing her acting but the others were okay.

In short, it's a rather poor sequel to the first one.
